Through a regional
agreement among the five public school divisions of Planning District 16
(Fredericksburg, Caroline, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and King George), and
with support of the Virginia Department of Education through a Regional
Adult Education Program Manager grant, Spotsylvania County Schools
administers the Workforce Investment Act, Title II (Adult and Family
Literacy Act), program services for the Planning District 16 area.
The administrative office
of the Regional Adult Education Program is located at Spotsylvania
Career and Technical Center, with classes and other services offered at
approximately 40 sites across the PD 16 region.
